Oh Lunch, how I loathe thee

What is it about making lunch that just so completely sucks? I pretty much make the exact same thing every day so I have no idea why I hate it so much.

Actually, I am getting better. I really am.

Is it just me?

People keep asking about lunch so I decided to look at what Avery ate yesterday. I simply can not focus on just lunch. Sorry.

Breakfast: Sausages

Lunch: Applegate Farms Pepperoni, Organic Carrots, Organic Cherries, Organic Applesauce, and Navitas Power snacks.

After school snack: Goat Milk Yogurt, chia seeds, pecans, strawberries, and local honey.

Dinner: Kale chips (not cooked yet in pic below) and Roasted Chicken

(Boxes HERE. It does not look like any of the lunch boxes are on sale right now, but they will be eventually, so I advise you to keep watching!)

    I love your blog and love the idea of eating clean. For me, however, it’s just been an idea. I have a large family: a husband, and five children, and am on target to adopt my great niece and nephew whom I just found out have been in foster care for almost a year. Regular cheap meals are becoming expensive so the thought of organic blows my mind. I do however try to cook every night instead of eating out, to use frozen instead of canned, and try to make mashed potatoes and the like from scratch instead of a box. Any ideas on how to eat clean/healthier on a budget? Also, will you post a recipe for the kale chips and roasted chicken?

    Thanks for sharing…. Ugggghhhh lunches…I have a one year old {soon to be two} and they are killing me…. being so wasteful.
